• How I Choose My Niche Sites

  •

In a recent blog post, I revealed that I was purchasing a lot of websites to build an empire of income producers. This brought loads of questions regarding what I look for and what I change when I see an income opportunity.

This video goes inside one of my niche sites and reveals what I do…

Ah looks a lot like Ryansreview.com

good stuff. What exact steps do you take when you get something “More Established On Google”.

(i.e do you make videos, articles etc). I know there’s a ton of stuff you can do, but just looking for some insight on what takes priority with you and how you factor your time. I always find myself barking up the wrong tree and seeing no results even months later.

    Thks

I loved the video. I am actually looking at a site on Sitepoint right now and I think I will buy it. Can you take a look at it for me and tell me what you think.

    http://marketplace.sitepoint.com/auctions/53125

Listed for a whole lot of product keywords and has front page listings for a lot of different terms like “affiliate marketing reviews”

I can buy it now for $2500 and it makes about $250 a month and like you said its a pretty ugly site which leaves a lot of room for higher earnings. Its also in my favorite niche which is the money making niche.

Please check it out and tell me what you think.

    Mike,

I would highly suggest NOT buying a site before you have your own profitable ones. I rarely recommend spending your first dollars on a website if you haven’t made it on your own.

I actually do have a couple good niche sites making me some good money already. I just contacted the seller trying to get a lower price but he won’t budge. I think I will buy it then get one of my designers to make the site look a bit nicer. Did you check out the site? A lot of potential right? Well I’ll let you know how it goes.

nice video ryan! im ann from the Philippines, i’ve been watching your videos in theaffiliategod.com. i’m still on week 2. i just have a question, a fan site can be considered a niche site, right? coz im thinking of doing a fan site for my favorite tennis player/s and put affiliate links there.

Very cool Ryan. Good stuff. As always, thank you for sharing.

    Hey Ryan,

That video was great. That’s the kind of info I find really helpful. When you purchase a site for it’s google listing status and make big modifications do you run the risk of google reducing it’s ranking next time it gets crawled or are you pretty safe as long as you keep the title, h1, and kw density for the primary kw phrase about the same?

  9. Kevin says:

Not to shabby Ryan. I like the new look of that site…way better than it originally looked that is for sure.
I am a member of a review site template website and get 2 review sites covering hot niches every month. Maybe I should edit them and sell them on sitepoint. Be a quick way to turn a decent profit. What do you think? Here is what one of them look like http://theweightlossreviews.com

    Hello Ryan
Brilliant video with very solid and clearly illustrated techniques.
    Thank you for sharing!

Just outta interest, are you only marketing your Truth About Abs affiliate link here on LoseStomachFat.net or are you offering the choice of three “products” as you do on RyansReview.com?

  12. Kenny says:

Hey Ryan. Really good video. You definitely took a horrible looking site and revamped it into a nice looking sales page.

As of now, I don’t have the money to buy sites like that and redesign them, but I do want to get into that in the future. That first page ranking in Google, I’m sure, helped out a lot.

    Thanks again.

Hey Ryan — nice video. I just sent an email to your ryans review email. I’m thinking about selling my established diet site and I thought you might be interested. It’s a google ranked site, 3 years old, includes over 5,000 optins and at it’s peak was making me $500 per month selling clickbank products…I’m terrible with email marketing so this revenue was soley from the review pages being ranked in google…the revenue potential with the optins is much greater.

Anyway, if you’re interested, let me know, thanks.

    Ryan

Ryan, congratulations on this most recent success of yours !
I dispensed with Adsense myself …it seemed to me better that the visitor should stay on MY site.
When you speak of the opt-ins to whom you can market later, do you mean sending them emails about new products which you will feature on this site ?
Opt ins are one thing I’ve not considered before.

    Hey Ryan,

Great Transformation of the site, Really Helpful adding the applets to the old website! Definitely gave me tips for my websites I plan to purchase, though I don’t think I am profitable to the point of spendin $1000 on a site. It’s getting there. I Love your videos on Theaffiliategod.com!

    Good works!
