PPC with adwords has been a huge source of income for me online and without a doubt is the best traffic method I've ever used , however it all ceased when google came around and randomly banned me and thousands of advertisers out of the blue. Here are some things to consider when using adwords for ppc.

1) At any time google can stop your ads from showing, suspend your account or permanently ban you without even telling you what you did wrong. this is very frustrating especially when your making money.

2) Make sure to have your site optimized for seo also. Quality Score will be affected greatly by this

3) Be sure to read the Terms and conditions. If google keeps slapping you there is a reason. Make sure to figure it out before you get banned for life.

4) Make sure to track your keywords. Only a small percentage of your keywords will bring you sales. Its important that you know which keywords are bringing you the $. Seems simple but It amazes me how many people fail to track their keywords.

Hey this is a really life-affirming read for me at the moment, thanks! I've been trying to convince myself that I need to just find ways to get free traffic and abandon PPC altogether, but you make good points about how and why to use PPC.

Hi Brian

Thanks for your comment about TIDs. Would you mind explaining a bit more about what you mean?

Thanks

Hi Ryan

When you use PPC to test market a product, do you recommend:

**direct linking from the Google ad to the vendor's website?

Or do you:
**take the visitor from the Google ad to your landing page and then from your landing page to the vendor's website?

The first method incurs additional CPC but would be worth the cost to find out how well the vendor's sales copy converts with minimal affiliate involvement.

Cheers

Great Advice.

Hey, when I got my first check from clickbank, my mom said the same thing to me too!
But I have only 1, so it's not look very illegal and too good to be true. XD

I'm very good at losing money with PPC. I would say that I am an expert in that area.

Just got back from Kyle and Carson's home town.

I love those Canadian Rockies. If you haven't been up there, Ryan, you must go up to Jasper!

I been doing PPC for a few month with a small budget. Haven't tried biding on product names yet. Will have to give it a try.

Great advie Ryan as usual!. What about "FREE" advertising? Does that yield any results? I'm still waiting on yor reply regarding a "Troubleshooting Forum" rather than just replies to your comments. Thanks

Ryan,
This is the best post you I have seen from you in a long time. It is great PPC advice, particularly because it is rather unusual, not asking you (like you said) to drop $500 testing a campaign.

Good work man.

Also, why don't you make videos anymore?
