Nice post Ryan. You’ve made some good points here and for many beginning marketers this can be quite a sticking point.

I think you said it best here: “In the process of dominating a niche, finding affiliate programs should be the least of your worries. Find a hungry crowd, and the commissions will be there”

It is difficult to buy every product your are promoting, but it does make it easier to be truly passionate about why you got it, how it benefitted you. Look around your home, or your kids room, they have loads of stuff why, did they buy, get or love it,

ya might thing 5 % of something isn’t much, but if it’s a great seller, 100×5% is great, don’t alwalys look at the price look at the value the buyer gets,

I was outta town working most of June but just wanted to say thanks again Ryan for the insight, I do often over analyze things but try and remember, us noobs to this will often do that to try and prevent a catastrophic mistake. Nobody wants to dive into the shalllow end head first…except the guys on Jackass!
Thanks for the the actual references, aka Amazon, Convert2Media, CJ, Azoogle, etc, I didn’t even know about them so these types of suggestions go a LONG way, good man!

Hi Ryan
Love your post. I am so new to Affiliate Marketing. One thing that I am trying with a product before I put a lot of time into marketing the product is to follow it’s position on Google for a month. If it stays on page one and does not move to the bottom of the page then I will follow up with it. Does this sound like a good strategy?
