• This is Chill

  •

This week hasn’t been the best for productivity. Two Indians games, an unbelievable number of interruptions, and really hot weather have made it difficult to get things done. Thankfully, things have cooled down a bit, and now I’m getting back on track.

My new project is coming together nicely, although I have had trouble getting it to look nice in Internet Explorer 6.0. What a terrible browser… why they would invent such a nuisance is a mystery to me. In case you don’t know, browsers such as Firefox, Safari, and the newest Internet Explorer read the code much cleaner and display a much nicer picture. All in all, I would say that I am about half done with my new project, and I’m hoping to have it completed by the end of the month.

I must say that I am unbelievably “chill” today. I’m in shorts and a T-shirt that don’t match, barefoot, listening to Imogen Heap while drinking red tea. I don’t think you can get much more laid back.

I’ve also been gearing up for the Worldwide Brands launch, which will be commencing in the next few weeks. In case you haven’t seen their free e-commerce videos, they are worth watching, even if you don’t plan on signing up for the program. Their stuff is really beneficial. Here’s my super secret affiliate link:

Although I didn’t win the iTouch that was given to the top affiliate the other day, I did come in third behind John Reese and Skip McGrath, which was pretty exciting. It’s good to see your name on the leaderboard, and the fact that I am a top affiliate for several different companies will speak for credibility when I start to teach affiliate marketing inside my new project.

I feel it necessary to briefly mention my excitement over the announcement that Ron Paul made late last night. Every major media outlet said that he was dropping out of the race, but this was not the case. Instead, he announced that he was starting a new organization called the Campaign for Freedom, which already has 25,000 members after only about 12 hours of being announced.

Hopefully, at some point, when my businesses run on their own, when I own my baseball team, and when I’m able to do domestic philanthropy work in the private sector, then this campaign will endorse me in a run for public office.

    Hey Ryan,

I recently helped start a company called Movingoffcampus.com, an online housing resource and off-campus living guide for students. We recently added a forum and blog to keep students update on things that are going on the college world, ranging from issues dealing with living off campus to random facts from around the world.

We are currently looking to partner up with blog sites written by or for college students to add to our content offering and help cross promote our site with any blogging sites. I think it might be useful as well just to talk to you about my site and see if you have any suggestions.

I recently discovered your blog and really like what you are doing. I would love to talk to you more about a potential partnership or ways that we could work together. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to talk more.

    Thanks,

    Daniel
