For the first time in two months, I actually have time to sit down to write a blog post.
This semester really kicked my butt. I did manage to get a 3.6 GPA while running a full-time marketing business, but I had to sacrifice a lot. Depending on the day, I had to sacrifice growing my business, video game time (very important), running and lifting, my social life… every day, some sacrifices were made, but school always came first (sometimes I feel like that is a downfall).
Some of you have met my dog, Boo, over the years. I am sad to report that Boo is now chasing squirrels in doggy heaven. She got very sick very quickly until she could barely hold herself up, and she died peacefully about three weeks ago.
On a lighter note, with only one semester left, I have very high hopes for 2009. In just the last two weeks, I have struck joint venture agreements with two different million dollar internet marketers. One of them is a new product that we’re hoping develops into my first million-dollar venture; the other is a continuity program that we hope to become the #1 selling product in the niche. Both have the potential to be my most profitable projects ever.
If those are the only major changes that happen in the next year, I will be more than happy. However, I have much more planned. In fact, in the last several months, I have been acquiring as many niche sites as possible in order to grow and hedge against the economy. I have purchased four profitable websites in the last six months, and I am currently revamping them all. I also plan on jumping head first into my favorite niche, which I’ll reveal in my next blog post later this week.
Furthermore, I have been working on a new product that is due to launch at the end of January. It’s my first internet marketing product launch in a long-time, and it is way overdue. My business friends have been begging me to release a product like this for a long time, and I finally have begun creating it. With nine huge JVs currently lined up for it, I’m expecting it to be one of the top selling Clickbank products of the new year.
Thankfully, I am taking a very light load this semester, and I’ll be graduating in April (unless I add another major, which is a possibility). It is hard for me to believe that I’ll be a college graduate in five months. Even before I graduate, I’ll be traveling to Florida twice to meet some business partners, to Las Vegas to meet Kyle and Carson from Wealthy Affiliate, launching three products, growing my niche sites, preparing the next phase of TheAffiliateGod.com, and… oh yeah, going to school.
My life is so full, but it is so full of good things. These next few months will test me, but it most certainly will not be boring.
Later this week, I am going to be announcing a major change in my business. For the first time ever, I’m going to work personally with a handful of people, which is completely different than anything that I’ve ever done before. Look for that on Thursday or Friday…
I want to thank those of you who have stuck with me for so long. Your notes of encouragement and appreciation for what I do always make a world of a difference. As an economics student, I often fret about the state of the world and the decisions that are made that continue to make things worse… but I am reminded of all the blessings that have been entrusted unto me. Thank you for your constant support. I promise to return the favor in 2009!

Hi Ryan,
Nice work on your GPA! I also just wanted to let you know that the TAG forum is great and very helpful, thanks for putting that together.
That’s awesome Ryan. For some reason, successful individuals often find themselves incredibly busy but at the same time, loving life. I’m glad to hear you have all of these amazing opportunities jumping up one after another. It really says a lot for your character and who you are.
I hope everything goes okay with the partners that you will be grouping up with. I’m sure that you wouldn’t get involved if they where not already successful, so that is awesome. Oh, and I’m excited to see about the updated with TAG as well.
Take it easy Ryan,
Adam Simpson (braumab)
Glad you like it, Bryan! Thanks for your kind words.
Hey Ryan,
It is nice to know that you will be back in action soon. I am excited to see what’s new for The Affiliate God in the new year and also your new product launch. Congratulations one your latest business ventures. Wiith all the things you have going on in your life it is totally understandable to be MIA for a while. You’re stuff rocks man. Sorry about your dog! Keep the good stuff coming Ryan!
Hey Ryan!
Congrats for making it through your semester, mine was a killer this term too! lol Look forward to seeing your coming stuff, TAG is awesome, so thanks for that.

Best Regards,
Cori
Looking forward to what comes next from Mr. Moran for sure. TAG is great and I recommend it to all my newbies.
Hey Ryan you should add another Major and stay in school as long as you can! I am getting ready to go back and get my masters and the main reason is not really education but just the fact of being back in school.
Have fun in FL and Vegas you should look me up if you are coming to the Tampa Bay area I live in Treasure Island right on the water.
Good luck on your upcoming launch
Hey Ryan,
So sorry to hear about Boo. It certainly can be difficult when a family member passes.
Wow, just reading your post has made me enthusiastic in learning of your plans for 2009. I can’t express to you how much of an inspiration you are to me. You really have a great head on your shoulders for someone of any age. The fact that you are so young makes it all that more impressive. You are doing an incredible job with what you have on your plate. Bless you for all that you do.
I know that with your help my internet marketing business will reach new heights in 2009 as well.
Thanks again Ryan and keep up the outstanding work,
Gary
Hey Ryan: Sorry to hear about Boo. Pets are awesome! Congrats on your 3.6 GPA. I remember the days of working full time and caring 21 credit hours. That is nothing. Just wait until you throw a wife, a house, and a couple of kids in the mix. Now that will kick your butt.
Good luck in your endeavors.
Mellissa
Thanks so much for the support and the kind words, guys. Gary J, I certainly have considered staying in school. This is only my third year, and I’m preparing to graduate. I will miss it, but I also recognize the cost of being there.
Gary G, I’m so glad that you’ve found my stuff to be helpful. That means so much. Thank you!
Melissa… that’s scary! Indeed, my life does not have room for a lady right now, even though I’d really like it to.
Hey Ryan,
TAG is great training… I’m up to $10K/mo! Thanks my friend!
Ryan,
Thanks for all that you do to help everyone else out. Great job with your GPA while doing so!
Your TAG forum rocks and is very helpful as well. As a dog lover, I truly sympathize with you and my thoughts are with you and your family.
Good luck with everything. What part of Florida are you going to visit?? Don’t forget you have that BOAT RIDE that I offered you a while back. lol
Take care,
Nicole (ntweetyd)
Hey Ryan…
Sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Good for you. I did not realize you were a member of Wealthy Affiliate. I have been a member for a year or so…Love it and will never leave…
Deb
Hey Ryan -
Sorry to hear about Boo! I don’t know how I’d react if I lost my dog. If you maintain a 3.6 and stay this busy and reach your level of success, you HAVE to find time for a lady!!!
I’m about to go ALL in!! WA, Niche Q, etc. Are you focusing on a micro niche or just a niche item. Can’t wait to hear about the new products!!!
Hi Ryan, good to hear from you, been busy myself lately but nothing compared to you!
Man, you’ve got a lot going on, but I bet as always you kick butt with it all!
I’m doing well because of what I have learnt from you and will forever be in debt to you for that, and really looking forward to what else you have in store for 2009… make sure you keep us posted!
Sorry to hear about Boo.. I love pets too and it’s never a good time but life would be a lot less fulfilling if we didn’t have them, even if it never feels like it was for long enough.
Anyways, best of luck with it all, I hope to be in a position one day to meet up with you in Las Vegas or at some other JV type event where we are all discussing how we made our 1st $1,000,000

Ryan,
The most ironic thing – is that you are a full-time student and professor (marketing professor) at the same time. Keep the posts coming.
Wishing you the best in 2009.
Andy
Ryan
Congratulations on achieving as much as you have. You’ve done wonders. I’m reminded of the saying: “The harder you work, the luckier you get” – you seem to understand that one.
Thank you also for being responsive to my emails as I start the journey of learning about the world of affiliate marketing. Lots to do and lots to learn and I think WA is a good place to be. I appreciate your assistance.
Sorry to hear about Boo ….sounds like he meant a lot to you.
Bye for now and have a great time in Las Vegas.
Peter
Hi
I read your stuff and appreciate your generosity with information. I am one of your buyers too. Because of the free content is forthcoming, I feel good about using your links when I do buy. I am interested in what you are going to do with a handful of people.
Thanks!
Hey Ryan,
Sorry to hear about Boo. I have an Australian Shepherd called “Lady” pictured with me on my web site at http://TeaseArticles.com | She’s almost 12 or 84 in dog years. She’s still quite lively though. I have to say that I really like your blog theme design, with plenty of white space. Maybe someday I’ll be able to afford to do away with ads on my sites.
Have a care!
Fred
Hey, I am so so happy 4 u bro, thanks for all the good info you put out. I look forward to see what u have n the back burners… Later
Your story is very inspirational. I cannot tell you how wonderful I think it is that you have decided to share your knowledge and invest all the time and energy that it has taken to do that. I hope that next year and the years to come hold everything that you want and more.
Yea, well don’t let your head get too far up your arse, so you forget where you’re from.

As busy as you are, you still find the time to help all of us in our internet ventures. I’m a firm believer in Karma and all the good things you are doing for people will be returned to you tenfold.
Best Regards Always,

Hey Ryan,
So sorry you are grieving your dear Boo.
But she will always be with you. Dogs are
a part of us. Sometimes
my old border collie visits in dreams,
maybe you will see Boo there.
Congrats on your school success.
It will endure.
Thank you for being a
touchstone in these warp-speed
changing times. The other day
I heard someone describe the
internet as the world’s nervous
system…evolving. It is easy to
get lost…all so Darwinian. Thanks
for helping us be survivors, survivorboy.
Your friend,
Radha

Ryan
Great job on the GPA, makes my 3.0 back in the day look paltry LOL. Amazingly it is very impressive how you managed to balance all the major things in your life and attain a 3.6, very impressive. I read what you have witnessed and think about the number of times, I or friends of mine have said “I do not have time”. All this tells me is if you want something bad enough, enjoy it, you will find the time. We all have 24 hours in the day, we are equal in that measure, it is what we do with that differentiates us.
Way to go and great leadership on your part.
Ron
